Simulation

Practice in the real environment – in some cases, training people depends on costly machines and their availability becomes a bottleneck. Mistakes while learning can carry the risk of serious damages or injury. Skills may have a steep learning curve and when training in the real world, skill learning is often all or nothing: learners can’t break down the training into manageable steps.

As part of the Astronaut platform, we are immersing the learner into a simulation of the training scenario for maximum learning at a fraction of the cost, close-to-zero risk, and tireless availability. Learning complexity gradually increases for continuous improvements to achieve mastery. We make the learning stick.

Courses

In the tutorial function of the simulation, the learner gets to observe, practice, and master the skills to be learned.

The tutorial is defined based on learning goals and is built in a sequence of steps. Each section usually involves an explanation, practice, and possibly an exercise to demonstrate a skill was understood.

The tutorial runs directly in the Astronaut platform. It allows explaining and showing a skill hands-on, playing multimedia content, indicate current focus with pointers, possibly including interactive trainer avatars.
